Job summary

Berry Aviation seeks an aviation maintenance technician with dual role as flight attendant/loadmaster for a government contract. You will perform maintenance on fixed-wing turboprops under FAA Part 135, and provide safe transport of passengers and cargo in austere environments.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, parts coordination, and assisting with load planning and weight/balance documentation. U.S. Security clearance at the Secret level is preferred.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Power Plant certificate required.
• DOD Loadmaster training or civilian equivalent preferred.
• Experience maintaining aircraft under FAA Part 135 program preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Security clearance at the Secret level required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance per maintenance publications, OEM manuals, and FAA Part 135 regulations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft issues; develop repair strategies with maintenance lead.
• Assist with parts ordering, inventory, and ground support equipment upkeep.
• Maintain and operate government furnished equipment; assist with on-board maintenance kit.
