Job summary

Boeing is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform general aviation maintenance, avionics and structural work at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. The role operates in a flight line environment on modification of 5th generation fighter aircraft with active duty military personnel.

The position requires an active U.S. Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance post-start. Citizenship is required for program access, and loss of clearance could end employment.

Qualifications

• Military aircraft maintenance experience is required.
• 3+ years of full-time flight line maintenance experience on military or commercial aircraft.
• Willingness to wear PPE at all times and work variable shifts including weekends/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on aircraft systems, including electrical and avionics.
• Load and test software, perform checks on hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Install and repair fiber optic and electrical wiring; read blueprints.
