Job description

The OCM Lead is responsible for leading organizational change, adoption, and business readiness activities for strategic hospitality transformation initiatives. This role partners with executive leadership, program teams, business stakeholders, and operational leaders to ensure the organization is prepared to successfully adopt new systems, processes, and ways of working.

The OCM Lead develops and executes the overall change management strategy, stakeholder engagement approach, communications plans, adoption readiness activities, and training strategy. This role is accountable for change outcomes and business readiness but is not responsible for delivering end-user training.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience leading enterprise change initiatives, influencing senior leaders, and driving adoption across large, distributed operational organizations.

Your Role:

Lead the end-to-end organizational change management strategy for large-scale business and technology transformations.

Develop and maintain integrated change, communication, stakeholder engagement, and adoption plans.

Partner with program leadership to align change activities with program milestones and business objectives.

Serve as the primary advisor to project sponsors and executive stakeholders regarding organizational readiness and adoption risks.

Executive & Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, business leaders, operational leaders, and key stakeholders.

Develop stakeholder engagement strategies tailored to corporate, property, shipboard, and operational audiences.

Facilitate executive workshops, leadership alignment sessions, and readiness reviews.

Identify stakeholder concerns, manage resistance, and drive alignment across impacted groups.

Readiness & Adoption Management:

Lead impact assessments identifying changes to roles, processes, policies, systems, and operating procedures.

Establish readiness criteria and monitor organizational preparedness throughout the program lifecycle.

Develop adoption measurement frameworks and success metrics.

Monitor adoption indicators and coordinate remediation plans where additional support is required.

Drive pre-go-live readiness assessments and post-go-live stabilization activities.

Communications & Change Enablement:

Oversee the development and execution of change communications.

Ensure communications effectively articulate the vision, benefits, impacts, timeline, and expectations of the transformation.

Provide guidance and quality oversight for communication deliverables, FAQs, leadership messaging, and change materials.

Define the overall learning and training strategy in partnership with business stakeholders.

Coordinate training planning, scheduling, audience mapping, readiness activities, and execution oversight.

Ensure training resources, learning plans, and readiness activities align with business needs.

Collaborate with SMEs, training teams, and business leads to support delivery readiness.

This role is responsible for training strategy, planning, coordination, and readiness, not end-user training delivery.

Governance & Reporting:

Establish and maintain change management governance processes.

Track and report change risks, readiness status, adoption metrics, and stakeholder engagement outcomes.

Provide regular executive-level updates to program leadership and sponsors.

Maintain change management documentation, assessments, readiness dashboards, and executive reporting materials.

Skills & Experience:

Required:

8+ years of experience in Organizational Change Management, Adoption, Transformation, Business Readiness, or related disciplines.

Proven experience leading change management efforts for complex enterprise-wide technology or business transformation programs.

Demonstrated success influencing executive and senior leadership stakeholders.

Experience conducting stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, readiness assessments, and adoption planning.

Strong executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship management skills.

Experience managing multiple stakeholder groups across operations, corporate functions, and field organizations.

Ability to work independently and lead change activities across multiple workstreams.

Preferred:

Experience supporting hospitality, cruise, travel, resort, entertainment, or customer-facing operational organizations.

Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent change management certification.

Experience supporting digital transformation, customer experience, ERP, mobile application, content management, or operational platform implementations.

Familiarity with frontline workforce adoption challenges and large-scale operational rollouts.
