Job summary

Peraton is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead the architecture and integration of a large MES modernization program for BEP. This role combines enterprise applications, data platforms, and AI across Oracle E-Business Suite, OCI, Maximo, and OT/IT environments in a hybrid on-site setup in Washington, DC, with periodic travel to Fort Worth, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of professional experience in enterprise solution or software architecture.
• Experience architecting complex enterprise IT solutions with applications, data, and integration.
• Strong background in ERP systems, Oracle E-Business Suite and/or OCI, and API-based integrations.
• Ability to lead across multiple Agile teams and communicate to senior stakeholders.
• Security, availability, performance, and scalability considerations addressed in designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for BEP MES capabilities and modernization initiatives.
• Develop end-to-end architecture designs, integration patterns, and documentation.
• Translate business and operational requirements into scalable, secure solutions.
• Define approaches across MES, Oracle/EBS, OCI, Maximo, data platforms, and IT/OT environments.
• Provide technical leadership for integration of manufacturing systems and enterprise services.
• Define modernization roadmaps, standards, and transition strategies.
• Ensure availability, performance, security, and operational continuity in solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Agile teams, developers, cybersecurity, and BEP stakeholders.
• Support SAFe delivery with architecture guidance for Epics, Features, and Program Increments.
• Review and approve designs and interface specifications for enterprise alignment.
• Support modernization of manufacturing capabilities with new equipment and IoT.
• Provide technical recommendations to BEP leadership and Peraton management.
• Maintain architecture documentation and decision records throughout lifecycle.
