Job summary

Emerging Tech is seeking a Network & Infrastructure Architect/Engineer to support the VA EHRM SISS program. This hands-on role focuses on cloud and network architecture, infrastructure, observability, security, and healthcare IT integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• 8–12+ years in network, infrastructure, or architecture.
• 5+ years cloud networking hands-on experience.
• Experience with VA EHRM or healthcare IT environments.
• Ability to obtain VA Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain OCI network infrastructure (VCNs, subnets, gateways, DRG, NSGs, flow logs).
• Support secure connectivity between OCI and on-premises environments.
• Develop network diagrams, address plans, and Visio maps.
• Implement monitoring and telemetry across cloud, network, app, and security.
• Utilize OCI Logging, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, and related observability tools.
• Monitor HL7/FHIR interfaces and integration environments.
• Support Zero Trust, IAM, and security controls per NIST/CISA.
• Collaborate with interface, infrastructure, cybersecurity, identity, and program teams.
