Job summary

American Management Group, LLC (AMG) is seeking a technically skilled Installation Engineer to oversee onsite technicians supporting the VA’s EHRM deployment and training project. The role requires frequent travel by vehicle and occasional air travel, and you will manage equipment setups, verify VA images, and configure network connectivity in training sites.

You will lead a technical team, design and troubleshoot IP networks, manage Wi‑Fi and network hardware, and ensure high‑quality customer

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with designing, analyzing, configuring, or troubleshooting IP networks.
• Experience in managing technical teams.
• Experience with Wi‑Fi hardware - Configuration, Management, and Issue Resolution
• Experience with network hardware - Install, Configuration, Management, and Issue Resolution
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and have personal transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite technicians supporting the VA EHRM deployment and training.
• Manage equipment setup at training sites and ensure current VA images.
• Configure network connectivity in training rooms and manage peripherals.
• Provide onsite support and assist with issue resolution during deployments.
