Peraton seeks an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect to lead design, implementation, and governance of OCI infrastructure in a multi-cloud government environment serving 70+ tenants. Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain DHS Public Trust clearance.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering or architecture experience with OCI.
• Experience designing and operating cloud infra in large-scale, multi-tenant government environments.
• Deep expertise with OCI core services: Compute, Block/Object Storage, VCN, Autonomous DB, OKE, Functions, and IAM.
• Hands-on IaC experience with Terraform/OCI Resource Manager, Ansible, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, and federal security requirements as applied to OCI deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain OCI reference architectures aligned with gov't security and compliance.
• Architect tenant onboarding patterns, compartment hierarchies, and resource isolation in OCI.
• Evaluate OCI services and patterns to meet evolving program needs while upholding FedRAMP/FISMA.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, naming conventions, and tagging across OCI.
• Architect and oversee OCI infrastructure including Compute, Storage, VCN, Autonomous DB, OKE, Functions.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, or Ansible.
• Lead capacity planning, cost optimization, and governance across OCI compartments.
• Serve as escalation point for OCI incidents, drive RCAs and remediation.
• Mentor cloud engineers and collaborate with government stakeholders.
• Contribute to multi-cloud strategy, migration, and modernization roadmaps.
• Develop architecture decision records and technical docs.
• Support service delivery metrics with ISR Product Owner.
