Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts, stewarding supervisor and restaurant outlets in Virginia Beach, seeks reliable team player for dishwashing support. duties include sorting, washing, polishing ware, and keeping equipment clean to support kitchen operations.

Applicants must demonstrate physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects, plus strong verbal and written communication. Regular attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to push/pull carts up to 150 lb and move/heavy objects up to 200 lb.
• Physical stamina required for high-activity dishwashing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware for dish or pot machines.
• Wash ware and store in designated areas.
• Keep dish machine clean and filled as per standards.
• Operate burnishing machine to finish silverware.
• Detarnish and polish silverware for appearance.
• Clean kettles, tilting skillets, pots and pans promptly.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
