Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is hiring at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort to support Stewarding operations. You will assist the Stewarding Supervisor and Restaurant Outlets in cleaning and organizing Food and Beverage Outlets, ensuring efficient flow for high-volume service and guest satisfaction.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift and move up to 150–200 lbs with accommodations, and a commitment to reliability in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to complement guest experience.
• Ability to push/pull carts up to 150 lbs with/without accommodation.
• Ability to transport heavy objects through a crowded room with/without accommodation.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Adapt communication style for different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled ware for dish/ pot machine.
• Wash ware and return to storage per hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish machine and water levels.
• Operate burnishing machine for silverware finish.
• De-tarnish and polish silverware for appearance.
• Clean kettles, skillets, pots and pans promptly for cooks.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available for regular shifts.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
