Job summary

The Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort is seeking a Steward to assist the Stewarding Supervisor and restaurant outlets on-site. You will contribute to the cleaning and organization of Food and Beverage areas, ensuring dishes and silverware meet service standards.

Responsibilities include washing ware, polishing silver, maintaining dish machines, and supporting kitchen staff. The role requires physical stamina and reliable attendance; full-time hourly position.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to push/pull carts up to 150 pounds and carry heavy objects up to 200 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers and guests.
• Willingness to work on a regular basis and comply with attendance rules.

Responsibilities

• Promptly wash ware and return to storage per hotel standards.
• Keep dish machines clean and filled with water.
• Polish silverware and de-tarnish as required.
• Clean kettles, skillets, pots and pans for cooks.
