Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Server Assistant for the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort to support the Outlet Manager and servers. You will assist with clearing and resetting tables, stocking stations, and delivering beverages and bread to guests in a fast-paced, oceanfront dining setting.

This role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, strong communication skills, and reliability. The position is full-time and located on-site at Virginia Beach, VA, within a dynamic Cavalier Resort

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of table settings and service ware.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables quickly and prep for resetting.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations during all meal periods.
• Serve beverages, bread and butter; replenish as needed.
• Transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area for cleaning.
• Follow attendance rules and be reliable; perform other duties as needed.
