Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Server Assistant for the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort. The role supports the Outlet Manager and Restaurant Servers, ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment and delivering attentive guest service on site.

Responsibilities include clearing tables, maintaining station cleanliness, serving beverages and bread, and transporting dishes to the dishwashing area. Regular attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of table settings and service ware.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Ability to move or push goods up to 150 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment.
• Serve guests with beverages, bread, and butter and replenish as necessary.
• Transport dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
