Job summary

Halekulani Corp. in Honolulu seeks a Restaurant Server to deliver attentive guest service at our signature dining venues. You will take and serve food and beverage orders, ensure accuracy, and maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation throughout your shift.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma and one year of server experience; knowledge of wine and liquor service is a plus. This full-time role reports to the Restaurant Manager and involves standing and lifting up to 50

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year prior experience as a Restaurant Server in a comparable environment.
Liquor and wine service training or certification desirable.

Responsibilities

Take guests’ food & beverage orders and serve dishes and drinks.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
Inspect restaurant environment to ensure standards are met and rectify deficiencies.
Keep up-to-date knowledge of menu items, wine by the glass and beverage offerings.
Complete opening and closing side duties and guide bus persons to ensure optimal service.
Perform proper check settlement, tip reporting and reconcile daily totals.
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data.
