Shamin Hotels is hiring a Server Assistant for the Catch 31 Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront location. The role supports servers, clears and resets tables, and helps maintain a clean dining area on a busy oceanfront boardwalk.

You will assist with seating, beverage delivery, and guest requests while upholding safety and hygiene standards. Weekend and holiday shifts are required in a fast-paced hotel restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred but not required.
• Must have basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Customer Focus: Passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear and effective communication with guests and team members.
• Attention to detail in order delivery and guest interaction.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clear tables of used dishes and reset for new guests.
• Wipe tables, chairs, and condiment holders; maintain cleanliness.
• Assist servers by running food orders from kitchen to tables.
• Refill water, bread baskets, and condiments as needed.
• Assist with seating, menu inquiries, and guest requests.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
