DP World in the United States seeks a Freight Forwarding Operations and Customer Service Agent for Ocean Imports. This role manages freight forwarding files, coordinates documentation, and liaises with airlines and ocean lines to optimize capacity and cost. Candidates should have 3+ years in freight forwarding and customer service and be eligible to work in the United States.

The base pay range is $50,600–$63,200 with a full benefits package; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any field.
• 3+ years in freight forwarding operations and customer service.
• Freight forwarding experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage file creation and all services for freight forwarding and logistics.
• Assist with account start-up and liaison with sales for SOP documentation.
• Monitor/audit files weekly for estimate input, profit margin setting and invoicing.
• Assist clients with export/import documentation for proper transportation execution.
• Provide clients with flight/sailing details to ensure information flow.
• Liaise with Airlines/Ocean lines to procure capacity and cost-effective solutions.
• Liaise with DP World network and external partner agents to guarantee service.
• Act quickly on emergencies within Air/Ocean files.
• Coordinate with Operations to handle workflow overload.
