Job summary

Jobot, a global freight forwarder, is seeking an Import Coordinator to join a hybrid team. You will manage full-cycle ocean import operations, coordinate with carriers and customs brokers, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $55,000–$65,000 per year, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative, fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cargowise is essential
• Experience in ocean import operations or international freight forwarding preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shipment Delivery on time per customer's request.
• Coordinate full-cycle of ocean import shipments from origin country to final destinations
• Prepare and review import documentation for Import customs clearance
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), FMC, and other regulatory requirements
• Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal departments
• Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing
• Issue delivery orders and coordinate final-mile delivery with trucking companies
• Maintain accurate records and data entry in the internal system
