Job summary

Global Freight Services (GFS), an affiliate of Li & Fung, is hiring an Ocean Import Coordinator to manage end-to-end ocean import shipments (FCL/LCL) and support air imports as needed. You will liaise with customers, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure accurate documentation, timely delivery, and billing accuracy.

The role emphasizes customer service, key account coordination, and pricing support for China trade lanes, using CargoWise and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in freight forwarding or import operations.
• Strong experience with ocean imports (FCL/LCL) and air imports a plus.
• Experience with China trade lanes preferred; CargoWise experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage ocean import shipments from inquiry to final invoicing.
• Coordinate FCL/LCL and air imports; ensure accurate docs.
• Communicate with overseas agents, carriers, brokers, and customers.
• Support pricing, carrier and vendor management, and billing.
