Global Freight Services, an affiliate of Li & Fung, is seeking an Ocean Import Coordinator to manage end-to-end ocean imports (FCL/LCL) and air imports as needed. You will coordinate with overseas agents, carriers, brokers, and internal teams while ensuring accurate documentation and timely shipment execution.

The role emphasizes customer service, key account management, and pricing strategy for China trade lanes, with responsibilities spanning quotation preparation, bookings, and billing.

Competenze

• Minimum of 3 years of freight forwarding and/or import operations experience.

Mansioni

• Import Operations & Documentation: Manage shipments from A-Z, including tracking, delivery, invoicing, and filing in CargoWise.
• Customer Service & Key Account Management: Act as primary contact for assigned customers and coordinate with internal teams.
• Pricing, Carrier & Vendor Management: Negotiate rates, prepare quotations, and coordinate bookings with carriers and vendors.
• Billing & Financial Coordination: Ensure accurate invoicing and coordinate with accounting on payables.
