Job summary

Expeditors is seeking an Ocean Import professional to ensure timely and accurate movement of freight in the Ocean Import Department while delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting to the Ocean Import Lead Agent, you will work within a global logistics network that emphasizes professionalism and growth opportunities.

The role focuses on operations, billing accuracy, process adherence, and continuous development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 6 months experience in Ocean Import.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Attention to Detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate with strong knowledge of ocean import processes and industry practices.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Adhere to procedures and productivity standards.
• Assist accounting activities related to billing and documentation.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing and documentation.
• Commit to self-development and ongoing learning.
• Understand department workflows, identify and promote efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate overseas communications and timely responses to emails and requests.
• Escalate problems to management when necessary.
