Job summary

You will process import documents, coordinate inbound/outbound ocean containers, and communicate with suppliers, sales and purchasing teams, freight forwarders and customs brokers. The role requires at least 1 year in ocean freight imports, strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in ocean freight imports required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to negotiate freight and dray rates.

Responsibilities

• Process import documents and coordinate inbound/outbound ocean containers.
• Communicate with suppliers, sales/purchasing, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Plan and coordinate logistics, warehousing, and transportation with attention to service level.
• Maintain calm under pressure and work well independently or in a team.
