Job summary

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in logistics, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring customer satisfaction and cost-effective shipping decisions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two to three years related experience.
• One year industry experience preferred.
• Professional certification may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation, dock receipts, bills of lading, export declarations.
• File SED's (Shippers Export Declarations)
• Track and trace cargo to ensure proper movement and delivery.
• Provide accounting with correct billing information.
• Communicate with customers regarding disposition of Freight (tracking, routing, dispatching, quotes).
• Communicate with vendors regarding shipment dispatch, routing, pricing, and rates.
• Coordinate with other company branches and agents for customer satisfaction and service execution.
• Seek the most profitable shipping mode while meeting customer requirements.
