Altius Talent is recruiting for an international freight forwarder. You will work directly with customers, ocean carriers and overseas offices, taking responsibility for the details that keep each export moving.

What you will do

• Manage ocean export shipments from booking through final departure
• Prepare Bills of Lading, AES filings and supporting export documents
• Coordinate carriers, trucking companies, warehouses and overseas agents against cargo readiness and departure deadlines
• Keep customers updated, resolve exceptions and maintain accurate shipment milestones
• Follow US export requirements and company procedures throughout the shipment

What you will bring

• At least two years of ocean export experience within a freight forwarder
• Confidence managing export documentation and shipment requirements independently
• Clear customer communication and the ability to keep several shipments on track
• CargoWise or another forwarding system is an advantage

The package

• Base salary up to $65,000
