Job summary

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow in Ocean Export.
• Enter data accurately into the operational system.
• Track and Trace Ocean Export files and reporting.
• Maintain compliance with internal and government regulations.
• Communicate with internal and external customers and escalate issues as needed.
• Update and follow customers' standard operating procedures.

Scope of Position

Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Ocean Export Department.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Track and Trace Ocean Export Files and reporting
• Meet compliance at all times to regulations internal and external in accordance with government regulations
• Understand department process flow, and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity
• Ensure all customers standard operating procedures in place and updated in the DLSOPs
• Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
• Escalation of problems to Management when necessary

Education and Experience:

• At least 1 year of Ocean Export experience within a Freight Forwarding company.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to adapt to changes
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Process oriented
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills (spoken).

Training Requirements:

Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year, including as needed management/leadership training
