Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years in OT/OTA settings.
• Licenses: Must have OTA license/certification; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises, activities, and adaptive techniques to improve independence.
• Document patient progress and report findings to the supervising occupational therapist.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and progression strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress with observations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
