OTA salary ranges from $85,280 to $104,000 per year with a sign-on bonus available. PTO and referral bonuses are included as benefits. New graduates welcome; CA license required to practice as an OTA.

Qualifications

• OTA requires Associate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One year clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.
• Current California license to practice as an OTA.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatment to patients within scope of practice and federal guidelines.
• Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment according to an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Assists patients with tools and treatments for specific needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments, with OT/PT as needed, to ensure safe discharge.
