Pine Ridge Care Center in California is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed OT. You will help residents with therapeutic activities, monitor progress, and document outcomes to guide ongoing care.

The role requires an Associate degree from an AOTA accredited program and a state license where required. Training residents, caregivers, and families, plus completing required forms, are essential parts of daily duties,

Competenze

• Associate degree from an AOTA accredited program is required.
• Licensed OTA if required by state law.

Mansioni

• Conduct resident screens (without interpretation) as allowed by state practice act.
• Assist residents with rehabilitative activities and exercises per treatment plan.
• Monitor residents' activities to ensure correct performance and provide encouragement.
• Record residents' progress for use by the occupational therapist.
• Assist in scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, restocking or ordering supplies, and filling out insurance forms or other paperwork.
• Provide training to residents, caregivers and families according to the resident’s care plan.
• Complete required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
