Pine Ridge Care Center is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in California. The role requires an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy and a California license; one year of clinical experience is preferred, new graduates welcomed.

You will administer treatments, perform strength/ROM tests, and work with an interdisciplinary team to support residents. Sign-on bonus available, PTO, and referral bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in California.

Responsabilités

• Administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal problems.
• Performs tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, ROM, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment per established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Assists patients with tools and treatments for specific needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge with OT/PT as needed.
