Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Waukegan, IL is seeking a qualified occupational therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will help treat patients by following individualized plans of care.

You will support all phases of occupational therapy, participate in treatment programs, document patient progress, and communicate with therapists and facility staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Assist patients with occupational therapy under OT guidance.
• Record patient progress and treatment responses in charts after each visit.
• Communicate with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate standard occupational therapy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
