Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Woodstock, IL is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans and support patients through all phases of therapy.

You will document patient progress, discuss treatment responses, and communicate with the OT Director and rehab staff to ensure high-quality care and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Assist patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.
• Maintain quality treatment to achieve functional outcomes.
• Communicate treatment progress to patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
