Job summary

La Crescenta Healthcare Center is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support a licensed occupational therapist in implementing patient treatment plans.

The OTA will conduct resident screens, assist with exercises, monitor performance, document progress, and help with scheduling, training residents and families per care plans, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an AOTA-accredited OTA program.
• Licensed OTA if required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident screens within scope of state practice.
• Assist residents with rehabilitative activities per treatment plan.
• Monitor residents' activities and provide encouragement.
• Record residents' progress for the supervising OT.
• Assist in scheduling, answering phones, restocking supplies, and paperwork.
• Provide training to residents, caregivers and families per care plan.
• Complete forms and documents per company policy and regulations.
