Progressive Rehab Solutions in Frisco, TX is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support an experienced OT in delivering patient-centered care in long-term care and related settings.

You will implement treatment plans, assist with mobility and gait training, document accurately, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve quality outcomes while meeting regulatory guidelines.

Qualificações

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
• One year of experience in occupational therapy or rehabilitation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist for individual or group therapy.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and endurance.
• Provide gait training, transfer training, and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and safety techniques.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely in accordance with regulations.
