Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).
• One year of experience in occupational therapy or rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist for individual or group therapy.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and endurance.
• Provide gait training, transfer training, and therapeutic exercise programs.
• Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises and safety techniques.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely in accordance with regulations.
