Job summary

DESERTWILLOW seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This role involves recording daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes, following physician treatment plans, and assisting with training and discharge planning in a healthcare facility.

The position requires NV licensure, proficiency with Casamba and Point Click Care, and strong communication with patients, families, and the health team.

Qualifications

• Licensed OTA in NV required.
• Proficient in data entry and record-keeping.
• Ability to read and apply policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides and in discharge planning.
• Communicate with supervisor and health team regarding patient progress and plans.
• Participate in in-services and staff training.
• Maintain treatment area and report equipment issues.
