Creative Solutions In HealthCare is recruiting a Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join the in-house rehab team on a PRN basis in Texas. You will deliver person-centered OT services to residents, following physician orders and under the supervision of an OT, to enhance independence and quality of life.

The role requires an active Texas OTA license and a COTA credential, with SNF or long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred
• Knowledge of occupational therapy treatments and best practices
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer OT treatments to residents to relieve pain, restore or improve function
• Provide OT services under supervision of an OT per physician orders
• Relay service requests to the OT and coordinate care
• Ensure treatments align with the established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response and report changes promptly
• Complete documentation in accordance with policy and regulations
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings

Join Our Team as a Per Diem (PRN) Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in‑house team of outstanding professionals on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person‑centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long‑term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
