Job summary

North Pointe Nursing is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team on a PRN basis. You will plan and administer OT treatments to residents, supporting independence and quality of life under supervision.

The role requires a Texas OTA license and COTA credential, with SNF or long-term care experience preferred. Net Health EHR familiarity is a plus, and strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license required.
• COTA credential required.
• Experience in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care preferred.
• Familiarity with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist per physician orders.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist

• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care

What Makes You a Great Fit

• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
