Cedar Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in San Angelo, TX is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab team. You will provide person-centered care to help residents improve independence and quality of life while delivering OT treatments under supervision.

The role requires an active Texas OT license and a COTA credential, with SNF experience preferred. Familiarity with Net Health Electronic Documentation System is a plus, and you will participate in care

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long‑term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long‑term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in‑house team of outstanding professionals on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person‑centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.
