Job summary

Madisonville Care Center is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) on a PRN basis to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will provide person-centered care to help residents regain independence and improve quality of life.

Qualifications include a valid Texas OTA license and a COTA credential. SNF experience is preferred, with proficiency in Net Health documentation. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of OT treatment practices
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer OT treatments to residents to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information to the OT
• Ensure treatments align with the plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response and report changes
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely per policy and regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in‑house team of outstanding professionals on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person‑centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long‑term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
