Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a compassionate PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide quality occupational therapy services at Prairieview Lutheran Homes in Danforth, IL.

The COTA will work under an Occupational Therapist to help inpatients and outpatients improve independence, with responsibilities including documenting services and coordinating with the care team. Illinois licensure and CPR are required or obtainable quickly; prior inpatient/outpatient experience is

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current COTA certification and Illinois licensure/registration.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience in inpatient/outpatient/long-term care or rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work with clients of varying ages and diagnoses.
• Ability to work independently under the plan of care established by the OT.
• Reliable, flexible, and compassionate, person-centered care.

Salary Range: $35.00 - $50.00 Hourly

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide quality occupational therapy services to both inpatient and outpatient clients. The COTA will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist clients in improving or maintaining their independence, functional abilities, and quality of life. Responsibilities include providing individualized treatment interventions, documenting services, and collaborating with therapy, nursing, and other members of the care team to support positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current COTA certification and state licensure/registration as required by Illinois law.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.
• Experience in inpatient, outpatient, long-term care, or rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with clients of varying ages, diagnoses, and functional abilities.
• Ability to work independently while following the plan of care established by the Occupational Therapist.
