Job summary

ARC Rehab in Naperville, IL seeks a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Meadowbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation. You will deliver treatment based on the supervising therapist's plan and responsibly document care, while screening residents and communicating progress to the care team.

Ideal candidates are Illinois-licensed COTAs who communicate well with patients and families, are comfortable with computers, and who have SNF experience or related practice backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Illinois as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Ability to communicate well with patients, families, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Comfortable with computers.
• Preferred SNF experience; open to other practice areas.

Responsibilities

• Providing treatment based on evaluations/plans of care by supervising therapist.

Accommodate, Restore & Collaborate (ARC Rehab) is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Meadowbrook Nursing & Rehabilitation in Naperville, IL. The job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Providing treatment based off the evaluations/plans of care created by supervising therapist.
• Appropriately and effectively completing documentation.
• Screening residents and individuals who may benefit from therapy.
• Communicating patient status and needs to the patients, family, caregivers, or other members involved with patient care.
• Collaborating and updating the supervising therapist regarding the progress of the patients.
• Expanding and enhancing self, in both clinical and professional knowledge through associations and continuing education.
• Providing in-service training sessions or other educational presentations to members of the interdisciplinary team as needed.
• Supporting and participating in department operations/meetings.

Requirements

• Licensed in the state of Illinois as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Ability to communicate well with patients, families, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Comfortable with computers.
• Preferred experience working at SNF, but we are open to other practice area experience.
