Lahaciendarehabcare is looking for a motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join their team in Eagle Pass, Texas on a PRN basis. You will provide person-centered care, helping residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence.

This role requires an active Texas OTA license and COTA credential. Responsibilities include administering treatments, providing clinical support, and thorough documentation. The position offers competitive compensation and flexible schedules.

Join Our Team as a Per Diem (PRN) Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist

• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care

• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers

• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate

• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred

• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred

• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs
