Creative Solutions In HealthCare seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will provide person-centered care to help residents improve independence and quality of life.

As part of the rehab team, you will plan and implement treatments, document care thoroughly, work under the supervision of an OT, and participate in required meetings to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualificações

• Active and valid Texas OTA license required.
• COTA credential required and in good standing.
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents per physician orders to relieve pain, restore function and promote healing.
• Provide OT services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Document thoroughly and timely per policy and regulations.
• Attend required rehab meetings and communicate updates to the team.
• Support patients, families and caregivers with education and care plans.

Join Our Team as a Per Diem (PRN) Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist
• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
