Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will plan and administer treatments to residents, under the supervision of an OT, to improve independence and quality of life.

The role requires a valid Texas OTA license and a COTA credential, with SNF or long-term care experience preferred. Net Health documentation knowledge is a plus, and strong communication plus teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas OTA license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer OT treatments to residents with disabilities to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide OT services under supervision of an OT as per physician orders.
• Relay requests for service to the OT and coordinate care.
• Deliver treatments per established care plan and document thoroughly.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes to the OT.
• Complete required documentation in line with policy and regulations.
• Attend required Rehab Department meetings.

Join Our Team as a Per Diem (PRN) Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their independence and quality of life.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist

• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care

• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers

• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and report changes as appropriate

• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
