Job summary

The Springs of Broadway in West Memphis, AR seeks a FULL-Time Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab team serving residents with person-centered care. Plan and administer treatments to restore function and promote healing under physician orders, while maintaining quality, compassionate service.

Active Arkansas OT or OTA license is required, with SNF/long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active/Valid Arkansas OT or OTA license.
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience with Net Health EDS preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer treatment to residents to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide OT/OTA services under supervision per physician orders.
• Ensure treatment aligns with the established plan of care.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on exercises and carryover.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust as needed.
• Complete forms and documentation per policy and regulations.
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings.

The Springs of Broadway has an amazing opportunity for a FULL-Time OT ot OTA - Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant in West Memphis, AR!

We are looking for an OT or OTA to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals that service our residents through person-centered care to achieve positive outcomes!

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Provides skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (COTA)
• Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention.
• Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

Skills

• SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.

Requirements

• Active/Valid Arkansas license as OT or OTA
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
