Job summary

The Springs of Batesville in Batesville, AR is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab team, delivering person-centered care to residents and improving daily living activities.

You will assess, plan, implement and document treatments, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, ensure compliance with regulations, and support families and caregivers. New grads welcome; Arkansas license required; SNF experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas license in Occupational Therapy
• Experience in SNF/long-term care preferred
• Proficiency with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
• Ability to manage patients with different personalities

Responsibilities

• Consulting with patients to assess physical condition and impact on daily living.
• Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.
• Developing personalized treatment plans to maximize ADL/IADL performance.
• Assessing environments and advising on home modifications and adaptive equipment.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Ensure documentation complies with plan of care and regulatory requirements.
• Attend required rehab department meetings.

The Springs of Batesville has an amazing opportunity for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist in Batesville, AR!

We are looking for an OT to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals that service our residents through person-centered care to achieve positive outcomes!

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

• Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition and impact on daily occupations, well-being, and quality of life.
• Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.
• Developing personalized treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL).
• Assess client's home and other environments and advise on alterations consistent with their needs and capabilities.
• Provide recommendations for home modifications and adaptive equipment with training as needed.
• Ensure all treatment delivered is in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention and modify treatment approach and directive as clinically appropriate with IDT collaboration.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care is provided.
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirements.
• Complying with all rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

Occupational Therapist Skills:

• SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.

Occupational Therapist Requirements:

• Active/Valid Arkansas license in Occupational Therapy
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
