Job summary

The Springs of Pine Bluff in Pine Bluff, AR seeks a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab team. You will apply person-centered care to enhance residents’ daily living activities and overall quality of life.

Requirements include an active Arkansas OT license and a willingness to work in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. New grads welcome; flexible schedules and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active/Valid Arkansas license in Occupational Therapy.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF/Long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System.

Responsibilities

• Consult patients to assess how conditions affect daily activities.
• Develop personalized treatment plans to improve ADL/IADL performance.
• Assess environments and recommend home modifications and equipment.
• Document thoroughly and timely per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IDT for quality patient care.
• Provide patient, family, and caregiver education.

The Springs of Pine Bluff has an amazing opportunity for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist in Pine Bluff, AR!

We are looking for an OT to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals that service our residents through person-centered care to achieve positive outcomes!

At The Springs of Pine Bluff, our clinical teams service with compassion and commitment to quality care. Our staff is dedicated to providing customized care options for our residents and collaborate to create these programs and best practices with the intention of exceeding industry standards.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

• Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition and impact on daily occupations, well-being, and quality of life.
• Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.
• Developing personalized treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL).
• Assess client's home and other environments and advise on alterations consistent with their needs and capabilities.
• Provide recommendations for home modifications and adaptive equipment with training as needed.
• Ensure all treatment delivered is in accordance with the established plan of care.
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention and modify treatment approach and directive as clinically appropriate with IDT collaboration.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care is provided.
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely and complies with all company and state/federal regulatory requirements.
• Complying with all rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.

Occupational Therapist Skills:

• SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.

Occupational Therapist Requirements:
