Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patients in a facility setting under the Director of Rehab. You will implement OT programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments to help restores patients’ abilities and independence.

You will work as part of a collaborative team, focusing on compassionate, patient-centered care and adapting sessions to meet individual needs while helping patients regain function and confidence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA/ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities according to recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to address patient goals and independence.
• Support patients and families with compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual patient needs across settings.

Education
