Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement individualized therapy programs in an in-facility setting. You will help patients restore independence by delivering structured OT treatments and following recovery plans.

You’ll work as part of a team, focusing on compassionate, patient-centered care and collaboration with clinicians to support each patient’s goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Provide holistic care addressing the whole patient and individual needs.
• Collaborate with team and refer to other providers to support patient goals.
• Maintain a caring, compassionate, patient-centered atmosphere.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

Initial certification from NBCOT

Licensed or eligible for licensure in state of practice
