Job Summary: The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will assist occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients, helping them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans.
  2. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities.
  3. Monitor patient progress and report to the occupational therapist.
  4. Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility policies.
  5. Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and goals.

Qualifications:

  1. Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  2. State licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  3. Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
