Job summary

Synchrony in Indiana is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support therapists in an interdisciplinary setting, delivering therapeutic interventions and ADL training.

Must hold a current OTA licensure or certification; CPR certification is preferred. Degree from an accredited OTA program and 0–1 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including exercises, ADL training, and other interventions.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve independence.
• Observe and document patients’ responses and progress to the supervising OT.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises and strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
