Job summary

Synchrony in Muncie, Indiana is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to provide therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include assisting with treatment plans, ADL training, and documenting patient progress.

The role requires OTA licensure, CPR certification (preferred), and 0–1 years of experience. A team-centered, interdisciplinary environment supports patient care and education for families.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current state OTA licensure or certification
• Current CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including therapeutic exercises and ADL training
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques for independence
• Observe and document patient progress and report findings to supervising OT
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises and strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive care
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress
• Other duties as assigned
