Synchrony is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Muncie, Indiana. Under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting, ensuring adherence to professional standards and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications include an OTA degree and state licensure; CPR certification is preferred, with 0–1 years of experience. The role supports collaboration with the therapy team and families to promote patient independence.

Qualifikationen

• OTA licensure required or eligible for licensure in state
• CPR certification preferred
• Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
• 0–1 year of experience preferred

Aufgaben

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including exercises and ADL training
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve functional abilities and independence
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient progress and report to supervising OT
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises and strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress
• Other duties as assigned
